About us
By Mery Togonidze - founder of Twentyfive.
The idea for this coworking space was born in 2023 when me and the space designer - Nato Bagrationi started working on a renovation project for an Airbnb.
Designed fully by Nato Bagrationi (including furniture), paintings by the same, the project came into fruition easily with support of family funds.
The idea was to create a comfortable, cozy coworking space, that would feel like a home and would have its residents focused on their work. We wanted a lot of electricity outlets, comfortable tables and seats, beautiful minimalistic kitchen and the "older" feel that the space already had. We think the idea was beautifully realised. Most of our customers mention the "feel" in their reviews.
The idea was based on my personal need to find a quiet place, where I would focus on my tasks without interruption (being a lawyer, working remotely, working from home was not always the best option). Finding a coworking, where other people's calls and conversations would not bother me, and that would be affordable and close to home - was quite hard. Having the property in family company's ownership - I thought of doing this for myself and my family. Now it's possible for me to share the space with others!
The idea to call the coworking a "shared space" is also something we, together with brand designers - Nutsa Togonidze and Anka Gvazava - who did amazing job of feeling the idea - helped create the name too (by the way, logo design is by Nato Bagrationi too). We wanted the place to be called something that is connected to humanity, sharing, friendship - far from cold corporate feeling. Shared space - felt like calling this place something that is for everyone, not only for those intertwined in corporate world. Whether you want to come here to paint, or work for IT job - the space is to serve all.
As you may have guessed - the name "twentyfive" - is because the place is situated at 25, Lado Asatiani street.
